Wait till you get to bali to book ,we did the kuta to Padang bai trip by car to leave from Padang bai, what a nightmare the traffic was intense I would not take kiddies by car, suggest go fast boat sanur to the gillies via nusa Lembongan,or fly over to Lombok ,take taxi to harbour from airport and it’s only a quick ten minute ride to the gillies.
We were issued tickets at Padang Bai and pleasantly surprised by the modern comfortable interior of Royal Semaya One carried 60 passengers and after drop-offs on Lombok and Gili Air, arrived at Gili Trawagan in 90 minutes across one of the deepest trenches in the world. Staff handed out free bottles of water and there is a toilet on board.
